Autism Spectrum Disorder is a neurodevelopmental disorder which develops during the early years of a child’s development. Interoception is one of the major areas which is affected among children with autism (CWA). A failure in this area leads to an inability to sense the internal state of the body like hunger, thirst, heartbeat, respiration, various emotions, self-awareness, and self-regulation.
