Jibu Thomas is an experienced hospital administrator at Kasturba Hospital, Manipal. An engineer with a Master’s in Hospital Administration, he has over 17 years of experience in hospital management and currently serves as the Associate Director and Head of Operations. He has various certifications in healthcare management from prestigious institutions, including the Tata Institute of Social Science (TISS), Harvard edX, and the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ahmedabad, in different subjects of hospital administration.
He has received several awards from the Manipal Health Enterprises Private Limited group of hospitals and has also been recognized by professional organizations in the healthcare field for his outstanding contributions to healthcare administration. He is the founder of the Hospital Administrators Conclave (HACON) and has co-authored several international publications. Additionally, he is the author of the book Transformation Beyond Sight, a useful guide for prospective hospital administrators. He is also a recognized industry mentor for students pursuing MHA, MBA, and operations management, having guided numerous projects and theses for postgraduate students at management institutes in healthcare.
