Going through the book “Genesis of Speech and Hearing profession in India and its growth”. I am still reading the book but could not stop myself from sharing the feedback. It is an incredible book.. amazing work done in the compilation of the whole information and putting it so beautifully which can be followed by anyone. Personally feel proud to be in this profession and at the same time I am humbled to be around several of the flag bearers like you of our profession. The book gives grave insights into how the time and perspectives of people influenced and urged a need to have Speech Langauge and Hearing as a whole separate entity. It has highlighted several research done by lot of professionals whose work has made our day to day professional life effortless. There’s a lot to be learnt from the book about formative years along with the present advancements in the field. It is a Bible for all who are new to the profession or are already in the profession. Grateful to Kalyani Ma’am and Rajashekhar Sir to think about this book.
