Michael Hindley completed a BA (Hons) in German Studies from London University, MA in Modern Literature from Lancaster University, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Intentional Human Rights Law from the University of South Wales.
He is a former Member of the European Parliament where he was Vice President of the Trade Committee. He has acted as an expert to the European Economic and Social Committee, the EU Commission, and the Council of Europe counselling on Europe’s external relations.
Michael now freelances as a writer and lecturer on international current affairs and history, particularly Europe’s external relations. He has been a columnist for “Frontline” newsmagazine, and Singapore’s “Business Times”. He has also been Associate Professor at Georgetown University, Washington DC and often joins as a guest lecturer, notably at Mangalore University and Manipal Academy of Higer Education (MAHE), India and most recently at the universities of Gottingen, Germany and Poznan, Poland.
