Geetha Sreenivasan

After teaching English for more than 25 years, Geetha Sreenivasan turned towards writing and translation. Her tryst with translation began with Kumvee’s Blouse and continued with her translations of Ka Ta Chikkanna, Kuvempu, C N Ramachandran and others. Her translatory involvements range from the poems of Malathi Moily to the serious critical edition on Ramayana by Ga Su Bhatta. She has also translated the biographical work on H V Nanjundappa, the founder of Kannada Sahitya Parishat, and the biography of noted educationist, Dr M S Ramaiah.Further, her writerly initiatives include two non-fictional books in Kannada Alpaayushi Mahasadhakaru – part 1 and part 2. She has also written books on English Grammar and a textbook on Business Communication. Presently, she resides in Bangalore and participates in various discussions on AIR, Gyanvani and Doordarshan Chandana
